The eraseability isn’t as amazing as a graphite pencil would be, but the eraser on the end of the pencil makes in convenient to use. I still sketch in graphite, but when I don’t plan on using my alcohol-based markers on the piece or using fineliners, I think that the Col-Erase pencils make the sketch look a little more interesting, especially if you use contrasting colors like yellow and purple or red and green. I’ll admit, I use these pencils almost every day. Thirty three cents for a Primacolor is awesome. No bueno if it’s dark out and you accidentally grab the black pencil instead of the dark purple (Hey, it’s happened to me more than once.)įortunately, Prismacolor understands our plights and came out with a product that may legitimately be one of the best products I’ve ever used in my artistic career. The paper will still be stained with whatever color you used. This is because the wax in the core of the colored pencils makes it very difficult to erase away completely. Really, this problem plagues pretty much all colored pencil brands out there. ![]() Well, I really like my Prismacolors, but there’s on big, glaring problem with them. ![]() (My T hor: Ragnarok drawing, if you were curious.)
